The theme of my news week article is about cloning human embryos. Some people may think its a good idea to clone human embryos to help people with spinal cord injuries, an immune disorder or juvenile diabetes, while others think that cloning embryos will only lead to cloning humans.
Dr. Michael West says cloning is meant to help people. West also said that his type of cloning is called therapeutic cloning which could lead to advances in fighting a variety of diseases including Parkinson's and diabetes. Although; the president and many other people are opposed to cloning thinking it will lead to human cloning, supported the House Legislation to ban cloning.
